Release File Names
Files released by the NodeBrain project are named by package, release, and format.
Example:
nodebrain-0.8.15.tar.gz
| Package: | nodebrain |
| Version: | 0.8 |
| Release: | 0.8.15 |
| Format: | tar.gz |
The release has three numbered components separated by periods. The
first two numbers are the NodeBrain version, identifying a specific
set of intended features and functionality visible to the user.
major.minor.patch
| Major: | Increments for major feature changes |
| Minor: | Increments for minor feature changes |
| Patch: | Increments for bug fix only releases |
